This interview not only provides major insights into linguistics, philosophy, human nature, etc., but it also shows Noam speaking about such topics, with a clear thinking and well prepared interviewer, thereby very clearly showing, I think, how Noam’s thinking and communicating occurs in a very intelligent conversation. Give it a chance, not just for the substance and insights on the topics addressed, which are reason enough to watch this, but for the approach to communication and thought it reveals. Point being, watching Noam on the state of the world at the time of an online interview is always a good use of time. Watching him, every so often, talking about his other passionate area of involvement, linguistics, philosophy, etc., may, for leftists, even be a better use of time.
