Browsing YouTube which I frequently do, sometimes looking for public talks (often science but sometimes politics) but also sometimes just buzzing around and seeing what turns up – sports, chess, go, music – this time what turned up was this. Ronstadt was one of the premier female singers, rock and country. She was up with Aretha Franklin, Janis Joplin, Joni Mitchell, Joan Baez, Chrissy Hynde, and just a few others, so the induction was more than warranted. But what makes this video special, watch it through, is the vocal tributes from an array of incredible voices singing her work.
