This is an excellent forum at the at the UN General Assembly, concerning the Israel- Palestine conflict, involving Professor Noam Chomsky, in which he eloquently and carefully described that the solution to this conflict would be through the advocacy of a two state solution based on the 1967 UN Resolution of Israel’s return to the 1967 borders. He is absolutely right that in achieving this monumental aim, it will require a sustained determined international and US internal effort to accomplish this goal. He also pointed out that this effort will not be easy and that we should be prepared for a long struggle to attain this noble, courageous goal. We must realize that in order to achieve this goal, we will need an enormous amount of preparation in education, organization, and mobilization. It will not be an easy task. To think otherwise is an illusion. Thus, we will accomplish our noble goal if we demonstrate the necessary moral, political, and spiritual will. Many lofty struggles such as in India, South Africa, and East Timor have succeeded by having shown this resolve.
