Sure he’d be thrilled. He could a bit on ’em thereby widening the circle of knowledge. Couldn’t hurt.
Brand says that he would vote for a UK equivalent to Syriza and encourage others to do the same. I wonder why he did not mention Left Unity. Any thoughts?
Or maybe he has heard of Left Unity but they just aren’t quite as significant, or big enough to spark his interest?
I think that is probably the reason James but I just can’t help but feel that it is a bit strange that he did not mention them at all. After all, when we think of a UK equivalent to Syriza it is Left Unity that springs to mind – right? Also. Left Unity do need all the help they can get and this was an opportunity for Brand to help…
I tried to somehow send him some info via his website but couldn’t do it. There are plenty of comments under his original post and Facebook page and someone does mention them along with some other parties but I agree with you. He is one who could really give Left Unity a boost. He needs to be sent a link to the site, constitution and even the Nov 2014 conference final motion and amendments which is longish but insightful.
