My friend wants to do graduate study in public affairs or public policy (Masters or PhD) at a university in the US. She is a Cuban-American, politicallyĀ progressive but not radical despite my efforts, especially in relation to economic class.Ā She is considering applying to Princeton and other universities, but will consider other schools that I recommend. I would expect that most schools, especially prestigious schools, indoctrinate in the status quo, “market solutions”, “freedom of enterprise”, conservative narratives and fiddlingĀ with trivia.
From my memory, I checked out the New School, but most of its programs seemĀ to beĀ Masters (not PhD) and not very radical.
I know of the Political Economy Research Institute atĀ University of Massachusetts Amherst, but it does not seem to have a graduate program.
Can anyone recommend anyĀ graduate programs with a radical, revolutionary perspective?

Did you try to ask Noam Chomsky? He is likely to provide the information he know or refer you to the right people. More important, he is willing to answer questions, and his answer is always with proper content and detail.
