Caught in an undertow of ever-escalating amorality, we, the American people, drift ever farther from the shores of a representative democracy.

For one more national presidential election, will we throw away another opportunity to rescue ourselves and our country, not to mention the rest of humanity as well as our very planet?

Will we choose to oblige the sociopathic corporatists and their pimped out political and media agents by snatching “doom” from the jaws of “recovery” by voting for one of the War/Money legacy parties yet again? For one more national election will we collectively declare our permission for our government to steamroll onward in the gobsmackingly wrong humanity- and planetary-devastating direction?

Or will we rally with our fellow citizens to end this spiritual dark age of America? In the name of sane and humane reform, can and will we join forces with Dr. Jill Stein of the Green Party?

Stein’s campaign declares “People, Peace and Planet over Profit!” She and the Green Party continue their work of organizing a grassroots political and social movement, not poisoned by corporate money, which can bring about a paradigm shift from a patriarchal US government with win/lose, competitive, might makes right, profit uber alles, war crime values (or rather anti-values) to a humanist one that embraces empathy, partnership, cooperation, justice, not to mention planetary survival (re both climate and international law).

Consider that in America “corporations” are granted “legal personhood” status. Also consider that the personality profile of said “corporation personhood” matches up with that of a psychopath. Total, pathological self-aggrandizement with no capacity for empathy.

Our corporate-captured government is ruled by members from two legacy parties that BOTH serve psychopathic a/k/a corporate agendas. Parties that have been poisoned by corporate money. Corporate media is used to effectively propagandize and seduce American citizens into endorsing psychopathic/sociopathic policies of these corporate-controlled politicians and/or into believing they have no choice but to accept their economic and social lots, compromise their values, their welfares and that of their fellow humans, surrender their citizen identity and constitutional empowerment by tolerating what should and could be fought as INTOLERABLE.

Jill and the Green Party’s politics of COURAGE can prevail over the current politics of FEAR and exploitation of the legacy parties.

Jill Stein on CNN described her platform this way:

“… my priority is to create an economy that works for everyone, that puts people over profit instead of profit over people, which is the way it is going. …., I will create a Green New Deal which is an emergency program like the New Deal that got us out of the Great Depression. The Green New Deal would create 20 million new jobs that would green our economy, green our energy, our food and our transportation systems. By creating 20 million jobs, these are full-time living wage jobs, it would revive our economy. It would turn the tide on climate change and make wars for oil obsolete. In addition, I would bail out the students. We bailed out the bankers. We need to bail out the students who are the victims of that waste, fraud and abuse on Wall Street.”

In an interview with Robert Scheer Stein had this to say about Americans who are lost to a propaganda that seduces them to vote against their own self-interests and those of their fellow humans to a profound degree and for so many supposed “progressives” to settle for the “lesser evilism” meme:

“…it’s hard to change people’s minds with the facts, because people tend to get dug in based on longstanding commitments and traditions and so on; you know, family religion, almost; politics is a religion. And I tell people it’s important for us to play the role of therapists, political therapists, and to help our friends break up with an abusive relationship. An abusive relationship [laughs] with the Democratic Party. What has it done for you lately, exactly? Except tell you about its great values; but if you actually look at what it’s accomplished, it’s a pretty terrible track record. …. we strive to be in healthy relationships in our everyday lives, we need a healthy politics that is respecting us as people …”

Point well made, Dr. Stein!
