Reyanna James
Reyanna James is the Inequality Research & Editorial Associate at the Institute for Policy Studies. She is committed to advancing policies and narratives that challenge inequality and promote economic justice, with a particular focus on the intersections of race and gender.
Reyanna holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Mathematics from Yale University and a Master’s in Development Studies from SOAS, University of London, which she completed as a Fulbright scholar. Her dissertation examined the racialized and gendered dimensions of social economy practices, emphasizing the overlooked contributions of Black women. Her previous work explores critical issues such as care work, social reproduction, and the social and solidarity economy.
