I am a solicitor (lawyer - qualified to practice in England and Wales). I trained with a corporate law firm primarily to gain experience and raise funds for further study. I am currently doing a masters in International Economic Law, Justice and Development. Next year, I am to work in India, Malawi or Uganda and for a human rights organisation like Amnesty International or Human Rights Watch. For all their faults, I think my training, knowledge and advocacy skills would come in most use at these organisations.
