Hoda Katebi

Hoda Katebi is an Iranian-American writer, community organizer and lawyer. She is the founding member of Blue Tin Production, a garment worker-led apparel manufacturing worker cooperative; a national lead with Believers Bail Out, a bail fund using Zakat to bail Muslims out of pre-trial and immigration incarceration; an adviser for Dissenters, a youth-led anti-war movement; and is currently building 63rd House, a $6M third space community center alongside Black and Brown youth on the Southwest Side of Chicago. Her words have appeared in the LA Times, Newsweek, Washington Post and others, and she has appeared on Democracy Now!, the New York Times, Vogue, BBC and other media globally.
