Christopher Hitchens wrote an essay (roughly 9/20/2001) for an issue of the Nation titled Against Rationalization . On the Nation website on 9/24 Hitchens added a reply (Of Sin, the Left & Islamic Fascism) to some criticisms he had heard of  his initial piece.
