The Best Political Joke

I am always nervous when I go on stage.

I ask my self, Who knows the mood of this crowd? What if I bomb?

I take a deep breath and I walk out and stand under the spot light. The crowd seems alive and there are loud cheers. I feel my confidence grow.

"Thank you. It’s good to be here. I was going to start tonight off with some good political jokes but it looks like all the good ones were elected…"

I hear a burst of laughter, hand claps and whistles. The nervousness passes. It will be a good night…
