One of my favorite writes maintains the InterventionsWatch blog and also contributes regularly to the Media Lens Message Board
He is a guy named Peter from the UK who obviously has a day job but puts 90% of professional political writers to shame.
Anyway, somebody weighed in on tomorrow’s election in the UK with the following comment defending Russell Brand’s decision to very uncritically endorse the Labour party:

And when Labour vote with the Tories on things like capping welfare spending and bombing Libya, while promising to actively discriminate against immigrants and cut child benefit, I suppose that’s just them demonstrating their opposition to austerity, permanent war and racism, their decency and humanity, in a very novel way?
And who knows, perhaps the real ‘wreckers’ are those who are going out and voting for a pro-austerity, pro-war, racist, neoliberal party – for that is what Labour unambiguously are – while ignoring and/or smearing the genuine alternatives.
(I personally wouldn’t say so, but you could make the case)
