Sona Prakash is an independent researcher and policy analyst based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. She works on and writes about environmental policy as well as global sustainable development, in particular the inequality embedded in North-South relations and capitalist systems of exchange. Apart from policy and research papers, she has written for ZNet, Jacobin magazine and Political Critique, as well as opinion pieces for the Democracy in Europe Movement 2025 (DiEM25), of which she is a member.
