Cameron Vega is a Foreign Service Officer at the US State Department. Previously, he was a 2023 New Voices on Nuclear Weapons Fellow at the Federation of American Scientists, where he researched and wrote on nuclear ethics. He received his undergraduate degrees from Arizona State University and a graduate degree from Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies. He is originally from Mesa, Arizona.
