Amanda Tobin Ripley

Amanda Tobin Ripley, Ph.D., is a critical museum scholar and practitioner whose research focuses on grassroots efforts to advance equity in the cultural sector. She worked with Museums Moving Forward to develop the Art Museum Unions Index. Amanda holds a Ph.D. in Arts Administration, Education, & Policy from The Ohio State University and an M.Ed. from the Harvard Graduate School of Education in Arts in Education. While working as the Associate Director of Education at MASS MoCA, she served on the organizing committee for the MASS MoCA Union (UAW Local 2110).
