Alberto Peruffo da Montecchio
Alberto Peruffo da Montecchio is a radical activist in the Veneto region of Italy, with a decades-long focus on opposition to militarism and chemical contamination. He is a scholar of political theories, the author of the book, The Meadows Will Not Return (Non torneranno i prati), and founder/curator of the Political Laboratory for Ecology (Laboratorio Politico di Ecologia) and the PFAS.land working group, which successfully blocked and brought to trial multinationals such as Miteni (Mitsubishi-ENI), an international partner of the DuPont corporation. He has participated in, directed and produced many collective artistic creations, bringing together a variety of people, disciplines, and intellectuals of the Italian radical scene.
