Robinson is Distinguished Professor of Sociology and Global and International Studies, Latin American and Iberian Studies, and Affiliated Faculty, Chicana and Chicano Studies at the University of California at Santa Barbara. He is the author of numerous works and his latest book is Epochal Crisis: The Exhaustion of Global Capitalism (2025).
