Joining me on today’s program, Professor Asad Abukhalil grew up and studied political science in Beirut and later received his Doctorate in the United States. He’s taught at multiple US universities and was a freelance Middle East consultant for several American media outlets. He’s currently professor of political science at California State University.

He is the author of the Historical Dictionary of Lebanon (1998), Bin Laden, Islam and America’s New War on Terrorism (2002), The Battle for Saudi Arabia (2004) and ran the popular The Angry Arab blog.
