In the second and final part of our series on the state of free speech, the free press and social media censorship, we examine the common trends and legislative actions related to the press and online spaces. We cover the United States’ efforts to restrict certain media both domestically and abroad as well as new regulations in the European Union, including the Digital Services Act (DSA) and European Media Freedom Act (EMFA).
