There are those who never fail,

While failing everywhere;

Their failed-successes glitter loud,

While orphan-truths cower.

 

These are days of bold proclaim–

Word stands for deed;

The law is wise to the episteme,

And knows which papers not to read.

 

As the jobless swell in despairing  droves

Sector after sector,

New-fangled nationalists join the force—

The Enemy becomes benefactor.

 

God be praised for enemies,

No friends as good as they—

When orphan-truths raise their heads,

Our enemies show us the way.

 

The whistle blows from air waves,

And concordant channel-feeds;

The wretched come to realize

What the country really needs.
