Let us compare how leading Nordic European papers report on the “capitulation plan” imposed on the US-subordinated state Ukraine, and the magnificent “Peace Plan” on our victim, Gaza and the Palestinians. It is a stunning exercise in hypocrisy.

After two years of attack and genocide by an illegal occupier, the West and its attack dog, Israel, are at the cusp of succeeding in the war’s goal since day one: conquering Gaza. Virtually 100% of Swedish intellectuals and politicians – from the outermost “left” to “right”-end spectrum in the mainstream – agree that Israel, the decades-old illegal occupier of Palestine, has the right to “defend” itself against those it occupies, as careful media analyses illustrate.

Since the first phases of Israel’s illegal war of aggression, Hamas has over and over again offered to fully “disarm” itself, release all hostages within a “single round”, full recognition of Israel and security guarantees, and abdication of all Hamas’ power in Gaza. Incidentally, this stance has been proposed in multiple international UN Security Council (UNSC) resolutions. Each and every one of these has been dismissed by the leading rejectionists, the US and Israel. But little, if any of this is ever reported, since it would give the game away.

The international community, which understands that there is no material benefit or power to be gained from standing on the side of the Palestinians, rubber-stamped the US-imposed capitulation declaration on the Palestinians, UNSC resolution 2803. It is a textbook case of a conqueror’s victory declaration imposed on the defenseless Palestinians – who are completely excluded from the Plan, of course. The Palestinians are to be disarmed entirely – not the aggressors, Washington, Tel Aviv and their European sponsors. Israel’s occupation will continue, as always. The mass murdering Victors will own, not just control, Gaza, with its attacker Trump, alongside war criminal Tony Blair, reigning the ”Board of Peace”.

One could imagine Putin conquering Ukraine, ethnically cleansing and starving it, killing (in proportion to the number killed in Gaza) 2-4 million Ukrainians. Then, Putin would declare himself as Ukraine’s ruler, alongside Kim Jong-un and Ayatollah Khamenei in a “Board of Peace”. Though, I doubt the Russians would have the ultimate audacity to try to pull it off, without anyone raising an eyebrow.

All of this is based on Trump’s 20 point ”peace plan”, which, again, is nothing more than a capitulation ultimatum imposed on Palestinian resistance.

Virtually without exception, the Swedish press accepts the absurdity that the so-called “Peace Proposal” from the US aggressor represents the “best” chance for peace so far. Then, they go on to tactical debates as to whether or not this noble gift will be welcomed or not by the “terrorists”. “Donald Trump must be praised for the agreement … Much could go wrong though – will Hamas really accept disarmament?” as the Op-Ed in the leading paper Expressen put it, and continued: “if the arrangement holds, Donald Trump would be a perfect candidate for the Nobel peace prize”. Incidentally, the same article is perplexed over why so few “Palestinian activists are celebrating”.

Again, it is not all too difficult to imagine some party hack in the Moscow press asking themselves why so few people are “celebrating” if Kiev had been occupied, ethnically cleansed and then subjugated to capitulation. “If” successful, “Vladimir Putin”, who ”must be praised”, ”would be a perfect candidate for the Nobel peace prize”.

Hamas’ proposals and the numerous UNSC resolutions vetoed by the US, are of course not worthy of anything – not even a mention. They are simply improper facts, and therefore have never happened.

“If Trump achieves a lasting solution in Gaza, then something extraordinary would need to happen if the Peace Prize goes to anyone else next year”, in the words of Svenska Dagbladet, a leading liberal paper. Incidentally, that same paper cheered: “The prospect for peace and development in the Middle East is now brighter than ever … today, we can only feel joy”.

After having conducted a genocide, multiple illegal wars of aggression in the region (against Yemen, Lebanon, Iran and so on), been sanctioned by the Hague World Court, and having totally crushed the ICC after it declared Western terrorists wanted for war crimes and crimes against humanity – after all of this and much more, intellectuals in the West are united in “joy”, “celebrating” in chorus that we now deserve the “Nobel Peace Prize”.

The deeply ingrained totalitarianism, lawlessness and Mafia mentality that is the hallmark of the Western educated classes could not be displayed any clearer.

Of course, the very idea that the West would pay reparations for these achievements in “peace and development in the Middle East” can be put in the same category as the ICJ court decision, the UN condemnation of our wars of aggression against the region’s countries: too ludicrous even to be mentioned.

Let us also not dwell any further on the transparent absurdity of forcing Hamas to subjugate and disarm itself against its illegal aggressors. All sides of the media “debate” take for granted that this is indeed worthy of being called “peace”, indulging in tactical debate as to whether or not the “terrorists” will keep to the “peace plan” in exchange for West’s promise to keep to good behaviour. One could look at Washington and Tel Aviv’s earlier merits in sticking to agreements and, as exemplified in their premeditated, immediate and successful breaches of their imposed “peace” in Gaza, Iran and Lebanon. But plainly, it would be ridiculous to expect the media to rise to such a level, keeping to a discipline no respectable journalist would deign to falter.

Luckily, history set up a controlled experiment for us to illustrate the spectacular hypocrisy in the West, and their pronouncements of a just “peace”. Just as the 20-point capitulation plan was imposed, the US proposed the 28-point plan (then revised), ordering Ukraine and Russia to make concessions in hope of achieving “peace” in Europe.

“Trump’s peace plan is ‘made in Moscow’” and aims to “force Ukraine to accept a peace plan that is based entirely on Moscow’s terms”, as Dagens Nyheter, the leading center-liberal “critical” newspaper, explained.

That Gaza’s capitulation is “Made in Washington” and “forced” upon the brutalized population, however, is not a problem.

“The peace plan is not a compromise. It is capitulation”, thundered leading Expressen. It is unacceptable “the state which is defending itself from aggression is forced to disarm”, which is why “Europe must support Zelensky – politically, economically and militarily. The only sustainable peace is one on Ukraine’s terms”.

The tune was rather different when the Palestinians, after two years of attack and genocide, were forced to accept “Peace”. Incidentally, I am yet to see a single case of anyone in the mainstream suggesting that “Europe must support Hamas – politically, economically and militarily”, a thought so exotic that it cannot even be psychologically comprehended.

In short: all talk of “peace” on the victims’ terms and so on, is pure hypocrisy, nothing more than vulgar propaganda, rather than actual principles that we believe in.
