The rich are happy with the Bonds—

The Bonds have dual resonance:

They wash the cronies from black to white,

And shape our governance.

 

Their laundry goes silently

Into ruling coffers.

No one is any the wiser

To the exchange of offers.

 

Corruption in previous episodes

Was gauche beyond belief.

The Bonds put corruption

On a state-sponsored  brief.

 

The RBI and Commission

Have had their proper say.

The cabinet, however,

Carries the loaded day.

 

The parliament understands

The need for ruling Bonds.

The yuppies applaud the cunning

As ingenious governance.

 

The courts do not wish to mess

With executive innovation.

They berate the critical voices

For weakening the nation.
