Than to want converse beyond

High-minded people have membership
Of rich, established brands;
Their least ejections have merit more
Than truly meritorious hands.
Yet, a cur that smiles at a friendly eye
Has more merit than most
Who frown on contact that may not yield
A success with greater boast.
