A Feb. 27, 2008 demonstration in front of the White House against the proposed U.S. radar base in the Czech Republic on the occasion of the visit by Czech Prime Minister Mirek Topolánek to meet with President George Bush. The organizers from Campaign for Peace and Democracy (CPD) and the Institute for Policy Studies (IPS) were joined by a spirited contingent from Code Pink as well as people from Maryknoll, Catholic Worker, and the Washington Peace Center.  Joanne Landy from CPD and John Feffer from IPS explain why the radar base should be opposed.
