EDUCATION / INCARCERATION – Education Over Incarceration Scholarship Fund is a civic initiative created by prisoners in Pennsylvania at SCI Graterford, whose main goal is to deter youth from entering the penal system and the eradicate the school or prison pipeline. The fund is solely supported by prisoners who only make $0.18 an hour. To date, 19 scholarships have been awarded. EOISF is looking for someone to help create a “Fund Me” page online ‘with funds doing directly to the three school districts’ involved.
