A US war-resister living in Canada is being extradicted back to the US, where he faces a court martial and 5 years in prison. Canada has long prided itself as being a neutral, peacekeeping country. In allowing the US to extradict Hinzman, Stephen Harper and the Conservative Party of Canada are bowing to US interests, and undermining the values they, and Canadians, puport to stand for.
