US senator Bernie Sanders gave an incredible, rousing and incontrovertibly correct speech to a union rally this week, in which he reminded us of how drastically wealth has flowed in the wrong direction in our current toxic system – and of the political courage required for, and absolute necessity of, real change.
And the speech and its delivery also starkly reminded us of how much hope and potential for better stolen from the people of this country and the US by the Establishment and its saboteurs who undermined his campaign to become the Democratic Party’s US presidential candidate and Jeremy Corbyn’s leadership of the Labour party.
