This slow movement from Sergei Rachmaninoff is among the most evocative music of the late romantic period. Often performed on it’s own for memorial and tribute concerts and as a recital encore this perfomance is from a recital given at the University of Georgia in 2005. The cellist is Alex Kramer with father Stephen at the piano.
