Updates

Mike checked and we can hold the Winter Workshop on campus over the break. Garrett turned in the paperwork to make SDS a student group and filled out the paper work to reserve the room. Invitations for the WWS were sent out by Garrett. We want to put a place for phone numbers when tabling. Candice recommended putting SDS on facebook.

Garrett has a bunch of literature to use/give to people at the workshop.

 

Google Group

Garrett proposes creating a new SDS google group and using all the email address from the previous SDS listserve.

 

WWS documents

Garrett, Mike, and AL shared their literature/ activities.

 

Constitution

Ben reported to Garrett that he was going to attempt to write his own version of the constitution. A main issue discussed was how much we need to define in the constitution. How specific/set in stone do we need to make it? Mike recommends that maybe instead of having people signing the constitution they sign the membership agreement.

We then read over the constitution.

Membership

We discussed with membership requirements and came up with many ideas.

Mike proposes that next week we discuss and solidify the membership requirements.

We also discussed ideas for having food/drinks/etc at the WWS.

 

Criticisms

If anyone has an agenda item that they want on for next week they should text/email/tell/google group AL to let her know. Mike will include the agenda when he sends out the meeting reminder text message.
